As my former students pointed out (very politely) to Rep Morgan and Senator Hembree during their respective visits, the amount of "discomfort" they, as predominately nonwhite students, have to face every day is significant. The least the rest of could do is try to understand more about the world that shapes their perspectives, and our own.
