On SC for Ed's Indefinite Pause

A response to the Post and Courier editorial staff.

Last week, I submitted an op-ed to the Post and Courier, in response to the editorial staff’s opinion piece on the statement released by SC for Ed about indefinitely pausing some of our public advocacy efforts. You can read that statement here.

I am very grateful to the editorial staff for considering, editing, and ultimately publishing the piece, especially since it called into questions several of their own claims. That’s how I believe things should be done, but of course it’s not what every newspaper editorial staff would have done. They deserve credit for doing the right thing.
