Another short piece on SC Teacher “Contracts”
Happy Teacher Appreciation week to those who observe! In South Carolina and probably many other states, this week somewhat conveniently coincides with the final due date for contracts. I have some more thoughts about teacher contracts, specifically in South Carolina, in today’s CEWL Views from the South Carolina Education Association. Once again, if you’re a teacher who just signed a contract, or who is waiting to sign yours, I’m thinking about you in solidarity. Not signing mine last year was the most difficult decision I had made since deciding to sign one the year before.
